Come get your funny on this Friday at Willie McBrides in Hoboken on 616 Grand Street when the Hoboken Social Sandbox and Soul Joel Productions team up for a night of laughs to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness.
The show will feature female comedians Kelly Sater, a Hoboken native who blogs for TheComedyPoint.com, and New York City comedian Jodie Wasserman with Brooklyn native Yannis Pappas headlining the evening.
Pappas has been selling out shows throughout New York City with his character “Maurica Rodriquez” from his “The Yannis Pappas Show.” In addition to being a crowd favorite at comedy clubs throughout New York City, he is also an international headliner, touring countries in Scandinavia once a year. His long-running stand-up show at Bar4 in Brooklyn was recently named a “must-see” by The Wall Street Journal.
Josh Spear who is a regular at Caroline’s on Broadway will serve as host for the evening.
Tickets are $25 and include two drinks and the band after the show. The proceeds from the show will be donated to The American Cancer Society through the Hoboken Social Sandbox Pink Ladies.
