Party With Purpose to celebrate nine year of service with benefit at the W Hotel in Hoboken

Party With Purpose, a non-profit group that organizes and products fundraisers for charities in the local community, is celebrating nine years of service to the community, with a benefit at the W Hotel in Hoboken on Thursday.

Recipients of donations from the group will be honored at the benefit, as they are the ones who keep the organization busy, said Stacey Warren, who put the event together.

Complete with dessert from Carlo’s Bakery and burlesque dancers, Warren said this event will be unlike any other.

“It’s different and trendy,” she said. “Having a burlesque show is something Hoboken hasn’t seen.”

This year is the third benefit to honor 15 organizations that received donations from Party With Purpose. More than 300 people are expected to attend the event in the Chandelier Room at the W Hotel.

Tickets are $75 and are available on the organization’s website.

Skeery Jones and John Bell of Z100 fame are expected to make an appearance, as well as Eric Kelly, four time national boxing champion.

Throughout the night will be a raffle and all proceeds go to help other donations in the future.

“It’s really fun, always a good time,” Warren said. “People will leave talking about it for days.”
